We’ve had several questions about seasonal CLOTHING, so we have created a list to make sure that everyone gets the same information.  The following clothing items are considered “seasonal” and are ONLY acceptable in the designated sale: 

Fall / Winter Sale

sweaters (long sleeves)	scarves	sweater vests (dark)*
sweats	gloves and mittens	rugby shirts
thermals	turtlenecks	corduroy
coats	long sleeved shirts	flannel
jackets	hoodies	fleece
winter hats	twin sets (dark/heavy)*	velvet or velour

* dark colors = navy, black, charcoal, forrest green, or burgundy.  other colors might apply if material is heavy weight.

Clothing or other items with the following seasonal or holiday themes:

Halloween	Christmas
Thanksgiving	New Year's
snow	Valentine's
winter	St Patrick's

Spring / Summer Sale

shorts	sleeveless shirts	twin sets (light)**
swimwear	tank tops	sweater vests (light)**
life jackets	sundresses	linen
pool toys	capri pants	terry cloth
sandals	hawaiian shirts	seersucker
flip flops	sweaters (short sleeves)	muscle shirts

**light colors = pink, lavender, yellow, lime, baby blue, white.  other colors might apply if material is extremely light weight.

Clothing or other items with the following holiday themes: 

Easter / spring time

4th of July / beach

Items accepted in ANY Season

jeans	track / wind suits
terry / light weight infant sleepers (any sleeve length)	t-shirts (short sleeves) - without seasonal images
navy pants	khaki pants
polo shirts	school uniform pieces

We understand that children wear jackets in the spring and capri pants in the fall, but these items simply aren’t selling in the off-season sales (not to mention that they take up valuable rack space during the sale and volunteer time to sort at the end of the sale)!
