WORKING HAS IT'S BENEFITS!
The Little Lambs sale needs workers to help before, during, and immediately after the sale! By working, you can help ensure that we provide top-quality services to our shoppers and additional security to our consignors...including you!
REMEMBER...the more hours you work, the more you can earn and the earlier you can shop!
All workers are working as independent contractors and are not employed by Little Lambs.
Please note that "muscle shifts" (highlighted in yellow) involve setting up/taking down racks and shelving. Please do not sign up for these times if you are not able to lift, carry, or move up to 50 lbs.
Workers must be consignors. Work shifts are available on a first contact basis.
Below is a list of the work shifts for the sale:
Some times are only offered in a 4-hour shift; however available 2 hour shifts may be combined to make 4 or 8 hour shifts.
Some shifts require extended time on your feet and may include manual labor like bending and lifting. Please let us know if you are pregnant or have a health condition that require lighter duties so we can schedule you for an appropriate shift. Light duty shifts are limited and are only available on certain days of the sale.
Guest passes for the preview sale will be issued to consignors who work 2 hours or more during the sale. As always, this pass will admit ONE guest (16 years or olders) to the guest preview sale. No children or babies will be admitted (this includes nursing infants)!
A small number of extra guest passes will be available to consignors that do not work for a donation of $5 each (limit 2 per person). The donation will go to a non-profit of our choice following the sale.
Many of our workers schedule shifts as early as possible to fit their busy schedules. Certain shifts, like week-ends and evenings fill up quickly. Holding shifts, if you are not fairly certain you are able to work, and then cancelling at the last minute may keep someone else from working and may leave us short handed at the last minute. We understand that situations change and emergencies happen, but please don't hoard shifts.
If you find that you will not be able to work your shift, please cancel as soon as possible. Our concellation deadline for early bird workers is 5 pm on Wed, February 26. If you do not cancel before 5 pm on 3/26, you can send an adult to work your shift. Workers who do not cancel before the deadline and do not show up or send a replacement to work their shift will be fined $10 per EACH missed 2 hour shift / $20 per EACH regular 4 hour shift / or $30 per each MUSCLE shift, AND will not be able to work during the next sale. If worker has used a muscle shift gift certificate, that amount will be deducted from her/his check.
Following the sale, we will sort all clothing items first. Other items, like shoes, accessories, toys, movies, books, etc. will be sorted IF time allows. If our crew is unable to sort everything, consignors will be responsible for gathering their own things.
Workers who help sort on Saturday between 4:00 & 8:00 pm can pick up their items at the end of their shift. ALL OTHER consignors will pick up on SUNDAY between 2:00 and 6:00 pm!
